CASTLEDERG HIGH SCHOOL ENJOY McDONALDS STARTER

14 students from Castlederg High School recently completed the IFA Grassroots Introductory Award Sponsored by McDonalds.

The students learnt about small sided games, health and safety considerations along with how to deliver coaching sessions. IFA Grassroots Development Officer Stephen Erskine said "Castlederg continue to develop their students through recognised coaching qualifications from various governing bodies, this will no doubt benefit our game (football) and the students long term. The students and staff are always very friendly which makes the courses a pleasure to deliver".

One of the students (Samuel McKelvey) described the course as "fun and enjoyed getting to coach my classmates especially the shooting drills".
